Very welcoming and no nonsense. Arrived att the car centre 20 minutes after calling and the car I wanted as ready to go. The car itself drives great and it's refreshmg to feel confident with the purchase.

I bought a Ford Ka from NG Direct for £2,495 with around 60,000 miles. I was told the car had undergone work to get it through its MOT, and I was also given the very glossy warranty document. I was aware that the car had very limited service history, which I understood was due to previous ownership, so I decided to have the cambelt checked independently for peace of mind.I was subsequently advised by the garage I took it to that both the cambelt and auxiliary belt were in a condition where replacement was urgently required. When I raised this with NG Direct, I was told that cambelts were not part of their checks and that, had I taken the car back to them, they could have done a “deal” on replacing it. I found this particularly disappointing given that the car had been sold with their PDI checks and warranty but this wasn’t covered by that at all it seems. Whilst on the phone they also decided to have a go at me about my part exchange. When I brought it in, I was simply asked how much I wanted for it and I said that I wanted “a bag of chips” for it as it was rubbish. NG Direct offered £200, which I accepted. I therefore found it frustrating to subsequently be criticised about the condition of the part-exchange when I was complaining about them not checking the cambelt/aux belt rather than apologise it was criticise and I said I wanted a bag of chips for the part ex they gave scrap value near enough what more do you want! Unfortunately, my concerns did not end there. Within a month or so, the Ka developed a knocking noise and began losing coolant. I decided I had had enough and financed a newer vehicle instead. When I subsequently tried to sell the Ka, a prospective buyer compared its condition with its previous MOT history and raised concerns about the suspension and corrosion underneath the car.The previous MOT history showed failures relating to items including the shock absorbers and rear subframe corrosion, followed by a pass with no advisories. Based on the condition the prospective buyer found, I was left with serious concerns about whether the MOT accurately reflected the condition of the vehicle at the time. I cannot establish how or why this happened, so I will leave that for the relevant authorities or MOT provider to investigate.Ultimately, I paid £2,495 for the car and, only a few months later, received very little when I eventually managed to sell it. The experience was extremely disappointing, particularly given the condition issues that emerged so soon after purchase and my experience when raising them with NG Direct.I would strongly recommend that anyone considering buying a used car from NG Direct carries out an independent inspection and checks the MOT history and service/maintenance records thoroughly before committing to the purchase.This review reflects my personal experience and the information available to me; I am not suggesting that I know the cause of any MOT discrepancies, only that the condition I subsequently encountered raised concerns that I believe prospective customers should be aware of.

To the verified reviewer ,We at NG Direct have no way of saying if we sold this car or not there is no registration number in the description of review and its not a verified sale ,our cars come with a 3month warranty provided by ourselves ,first 30 days any problem we sort it .further 2 months at £300 as long as its in the booklet given at point of sale including PDI .pre delivery inspection again checked by ourselves 54 numbered points .But No one has rang about this car ,or called back in person at our office on the car pitch at all .WE did sell one similar ,which had 44000miles,MOT had 4 advisories ,two tyres, pin bush and the car had been undersealed. Sold for £2995,others of same car are over a year or more regards NG Direct

No pressure or pushy sales pitch from the guys there. Car is beautifully clean inside & out and drives smooth. Very happy with my purchase. They sorted out my new tax, v5 etc of new car and I px'd my old car which they also sorted all admin straight away. Friendly and helpful. Would have put a 5 star but think I was low balled a bit for my px price, but hey, that's the business I guess. In hind sight I should have sold old car myself but the ease of just driving there in my car and driving away in my new car was worth it as I don't live local to Notts.Was great to drive away with 3/4 tank of petrol, tyres all at perfect pressure, windscreen washer full, oil and coolant all at perfect level so really pleased I didn't have to bother with anything like that straight away. Overall really happy with my new car and would definitely recommend them to friends & family.

This is the first time that we have dealt with NG Car Sales and we have been pleasantly surprised. It is run by two really nice guys, brothers Ricky and Lee who have been a pleasure to deal with. They are prepared to go the extra mile and above and beyond for their customers. We received a reasonable price for our car p/x and bought what we think is a good value car from them. They are not pushy or aggressive sales people and their cars all seem to be prepared to a very high standard. So well done NG Car Sales wishing you every success in the future.

Initially really impressed and seemed like nice guys on the level. Within a few days it became clear one of the tyres had a slow puncture and within three weeks and 1000 the brakes are knackered and grinding. But because it passed the MOT it's not their problem. Apparently they don't check the cars themselves and rely on the MOT points and because there was an advisory they are saying it's not their fault. Even though they signed to say the brakes were fine.Do not buy from here unless you have an independent check of the bits they can screw you on as they 'aren't under warranty'.

Hi Sorry To Hear You Had A Problem With The Car the car you purchased, The Car came with a new 12 months Mot ,No Advisories .our PDI ,pre delivery inspection was all check at point of sale and signed by both parties, Then Around 3 To 4 Weeks Later You Rang Us Up Saying Your Brakes Was Making A Nose And You Ad A Slow Puncture, So We Explained That The Warranty Will Not Cover These Items, So You Was Not Happy, So We Decided To Check The Car Out, The Garage Informed Us, That One Of Brake Pads Was Low, Which Made The Noise Upon Braking, After You Have Travelled 1000 Miles Or More, We Discussed Amongst Ourselves, To Help, So We Instructed The Garage To Replaced Front Discs And Brake Pads, At No Cost To You, From NG
